THE OPPORTUNITY

Nicole Kwon came to CultureHype with the task of promoting the grand opening of her second store at NorthPark Center. Our other key goals were to tell about her career & show off her new KWONN line and in-house NKC line. Nicole Kwon’s West Village location is a Dallas favorite, so we knew this would be another huge success. Nicole Kwon’s cult-following go to her store for the latest trends and unique pieces, so emphasizing the new KWONN & NKC lines was a necessary part of this promotion. We wanted to promote the Nicole Kwon brand by not only promoting her grand opening, but storytelling her career & who she is as a designer and business woman. Our goal was to tell her story while engaging the media & creating lots of buzz around her local expansion.

THE DEVELOPMENT

We knew we had to create momentum surrounding this launch, & decided to slowly tease the grand opening. We created popular content at Nicole’s West Village location, like Valentine’s Day outfit inspo and began pushing out more about NK to media outlets. D Magazine, Dallas Morning News, PaperCity Dallas, & more began buzzing about the grand opening at NorthPark Center, Dallas’ premier upscale, enclosed shopping center. To further increase the hype, we began inviting influencers to come out to the grand opening & experience, as well as promote Nicole Kwon at NorthPark.

THE RESULTS

The grand opening of Nicole Kwon in NorthPark Center was very successful & drew a range of guests including top DFW influencers, tastemakers & media. CultureHype secured nine online articles, and three print features, resulting in over 33 million impressions. Influencers with thousands of followers were in attendance & also promoted Nicole Kwon’s new NorthPark shop & unique line of in-house clothing & vegan handbags. CultureHype’s campaign was a success overall & highlighted Nicole Kwon as a store, but also as a female business owner. We increased the brand’s engagement and had Dallas buzzing with the new store arrival.
