Dallas-based singer-songwriter Parker Twomey is set to release his debut album “Floating” on Friday, May 26. Pulling inspiration from prolific songwriters like Elliott Smith, Ryan Adams, Jason Isbell & Ben Kweller, his debut album gives an admirable nod to indie rock, folk & alt-country genres. The gifted 16-year-old & Booker T. Washington High School student will celebrate the release of his album at Oak Cliff’s Spinster Records on Sunday, May 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a special acoustic set by soulful musician David Porcheddu.
