This year's Deep Ellum Lit Hop includes a packed lineup of individual hour-long showcases, with over a dozen events at four venues in Deep Ellum for an evening of literary happenings curated by some of the best literary arts groups, reading series and collectives in Dallas-Fort Worth, including Dallas Poetry Slam, Dark Moon Poetry & Arts, Verse & Rhythm, Mad Swirl, Poets on X+, DaVerse Lounge, Spiderweb Salon, Pegasus Reading Series and more.

Serving as an exciting opportunity to showcase, celebrate and encourage a supportive, inclusive and dynamic literary scene, the Deep Ellum Lit Hop gives local literary talent a chance to make the spring event their own, to share and represent a cross section of what they do against the backdrop of a city that is coming alive with poetry, slam, fiction and other forms of literary storytelling.
