Dallas-based but Austin-born by way of Greenville, alt-rock/Americana group Brandon Callies & the American Revival returns to the city that molded them as they take the stage at Darwin's Pub on July 14. 

Formerly known as Brandon Callies Band, the group changed its moniker, better reflecting the Americana elements in its music. Their first album, "The Gunner," was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews. In 2013, the band signed onto Hand Drawn Records & since found a great deal of success in its songwriting & performing.
